Activities

Our July 3rd Celebration will include activities for all ages. Activities will start around 2pm and go until the fireworks start at 10pm.

On the Garden Green
Air Monkey- great for all ages!

  • We will have 2 bounce houses and an "Air Monkey". These will be ticketed activities. Tickets will be available for purchase in the Garden. Look for the ticket booth!
  • We will have a small Cider Festival taking place on the Garden Green. Tasting glasses will be $5 and come with 2 free drink tickets. You can purchase additional tickets. 1 ticket for a taste, 3 tickets for half a glass, and 5 tickets for a full glass. Tickets and glasses will be for sale in the Garden.   • Adam's Ribs will be serving up delicious BBQ.
The Silverton Market Garden
  • Pipe Dreams Aviary will be showing their beautiful array of birds and other animals from 2pm to 7pm
  • Fun carnival games with patriotic prizes like red white and blue glow necklaces and footballs! This is a ticketed activity. Tickets will be for sale in the Garden. Look for the ticket booth!
  • Face Painting by Sarah Powers including Glow paints!
  • Sidewalk Chalk fun!
  • Covered seating area for eating and escaping the sun.
  • The Canby Asparagus Farm will be serving up delicious Tamales. 
  • Seven Brides Beer.


The Bosque
  • Sweet Oregon Rain Kettle Corn and gourmet pretzels.
  • Photobooth.
  • Line Dance lessons and demos by Rockin Robyn's DJ service.
    • 3pm- Beginner's Line Dance lesson to Love Done Gone by Billy Currington
    • 5pm- learn a 10-step that can be a line dance or couple dance!
  • Cold Stone Ice Cream



The Children's Garden
  • All the usual fun Children's Garden stuff! Hobbit house, Mr. and Mrs. Pots, Archaology dig, crazy plants and more!

On the Resort Hill 

Firework viewing! Hit the high ground for the best view of the fireworks.

Amphitheater

  • Concert featuring Ben Rue, Pickwick, and The Portland Cello Project. Visit the concert page for more information.
  • Crab cake sliders, beef kabobs, and more from The Oregon Garden Resort
  • Tacos, enchiladas and more from Real Mexican Food
  • Beer and Wine
  • Firework viewing!



**We DO NOT recommend viewing the fireworks from the Garden Green this year. The trees are just way too big now! We recommend that folks head up to higher ground on the Resort Hill where the view is great, and of course they will be visible inside the amphitheater.
